This code of ethics is a map of values, a set of guidelines, an instrument to provide all Tietê employees with guidelines that guide the actions of the company's directors and its employees. With this code of ethics and conduct, Tietê Agroindustrial asserts its Mission, Vision and Values, in attitudes, behaviors, operating rules, organizational practices, productivity and employee well-being, that is, in Organizational Culture. This code of ethics and conduct helps Tietê Agroindustrial to strengthen its Corporate Governance, consolidating ethical principles as a management tool.

2 - Goal

This code of ethics should be a guideline for decision-making, it aims to guide the actions of its employees regarding the posture adopted and their way of acting, bringing them closer to what is expected by the company, with regard to the moral and ethical aspects

3 - Coverage

All employees of the Tietê Agroindustrial units, as well as partners and suppliers.

4 - Rules and procedures

Each employee, partner and supplier is responsible for ensuring that the rules and procedures of this Code of Ethics and Conduct are complied with.

5 - Tietê ombudsman channel (complaint)

This reporting channel is available to employees, third parties, partners and suppliers, for the communication of any illegal act or indicated as unacceptable in this code of ethics, as well as that is in disagreement with the values ​​preached by the company, or that could put at risk the integrity of Tietê Agroindustrial.

6 - Employees' conduct

6.1. Comply with this code of ethics and conduct

6.8. Ensure that there is no result, directly or indirectly, of any kind of discrimination based on ethnic, religious, political, cultural, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, marital status, age, appearance or social class.

6.9. Propagate the precepts of this code of ethics

6.10. Waive any benefits or earnings when representing the company at external events and commitments

6.11. Do not use ethics channels to insult, slander, defame, or falsely impute unethical, harmful or negative actions against employees and/or third parties, seeking to harm such person(s) or to obtain their own benefit or for third parties

7 - Unacceptable behaviors

THE FOLLOWING BEHAVIORS ARE UNACCEPTABLE

7.1. Use or pass on to third parties, technology, methodology, information owned by Tietê Agroindustrial or owned by customers or suppliers, without prior written authorization from the company

7.2. Sexual harassment of any kind

7.3. Using or disclosing to third parties, technology, methodology, information owned by Tietê Agroindustrial or owned by clients or suppliers, without prior written authorization from the company.

7.4. Using equipment and other resources (company vehicles, cell phones, computers and other assets) for private purposes without the prior written authorization of the immediate superior.

7.5. Manifesting on behalf of the company when not previously authorized, in writing or qualified to do so

7.6. Relate to the communication channels (visual, written, spoken), propagating nightclubs, pranks, propaganda, political party or any type of communication without prior written authorization from the Board of Directors

7.7. Maintaining commercial relationships with suppliers, notably those in which the professional, by virtue of their function or activity, may have a direct influence on the purchase or sale of products and services

7.8. Using your position, function or privileged information, for your own benefit, that of family members or your personal circle, to the detriment of the company's business or free competition practices

7.9. Develop external activities that compete with the company's business

7.10. Use the company's communication systems and channels to search, schedule and disseminate hoaxes, rumors, fake news, pornography and political party propaganda

7.11. Receiving payments, presents, freebies and advantages of any nature, such as travel, accommodation programs, not classified as commercial, promotional and advertising practices or that lack proportionality and common sense criteria

7.12. Assume responsibility for an act that he did not practice, as well as authorship of works in which he did not participate

7.13. Using the proximity to the hierarchical superior to obtain favors or to establish a different work routine in relation to the others

7.14. Disseminate within the company, partisan or defamatory political-content information

7.15. Omit the existence of any conflict of interests or any circumstance, or fact that impedes their participation in the investigation of the process and in the company's decision

7.16. Resolve internal disagreements without due observance of the rules of good conduct and social coexistence

7.17. Morally harassing the employee through an attitude that weakens, ridicules, inferiorizes, belittles or prevents him from expressing himself

7.18. Omitting to provide clarifications in situations in which Tietê Agroindustrial is cited, provided that it is authorized and qualified to do so

7.19. Indicate your spouse, partner or relatives up to the 3rd degree for positions that generate conflicts of interest or for hiring by companies that provide services or are customers of Tietê Agroindustrial

7.20. Maintaining commercial relationships with suppliers, notably those in which the professional, by virtue of their function or activity, may have a direct influence on the purchase or sale of products and services

7.21. Engage in unauthorized private activities that conflict with company time

7.22. Reporting to work under the influence of drugs or alcohol for any condition that poses risks or potential harm to the company

7.23. Photos and Selfies are allowed, respecting the following rules

  • Do not take pictures in classified areas;
  • Do not take pictures in places where the use of PPE is mandatory;
  • Do not take pictures that could expose Tietê secrets and technologies;
  • Do not take pictures in case of incidents and/or accidents;

  • NOTE: Filming is prohibited in any area of ​​the company, except with prior authorization from the Board.


7.24. Cell phone use in the company, prohibited in the following areas

  • Classified areas (eg: tank yard, distillery);
  • In places where the use of PPE is mandatory;
  • In places where agricultural, industrial operations and automotive maintenance are taking place.

  • NOTE: Professional activities that require the use of audio, photo or cell phone video resources will be punctual, exceptional and previously approved by the unit's Management.

8 - Relationship with partners, suppliers and customers

The relationship with suppliers must be ethical and transparent. Therefore, it is important to always respect the guidelines related to procurement and contracting procedures, as well as to maintain the integrity of the necessary records.

9 - Leadership Conduct
